The newly installed monarch, Onitigbo of Tigbo-Ilu, Ota, Ogun State, Oba Thomas Fagbayi, has urged the residents of Tigbo-Ilu and its environ to totally be in support of the present administration, saying it is the only way to fast track development throughout the nooks and crannies of the area.
The Monarch made the statement while attending to visitors from the neighboring villages, adding that the time for development has finally come which can never be in isolation with the present administration in the State.
"Honestly, it is over 300 years that Tigbo-Ilu had the last king, which has in no doubt melo down development in the area, therefore, inauguration of some youths who are enlightened in order to facilitate development will be occasioned for rapid development", Oba said.
He assures them that he is ready to relate with everyone in order to fast track development urging the indigenes to accommodate the Landlords to foster cooperation to bring development.
Oba Fagbayi added that there is need to imbibe Public Private Partnership (PPP) to bring about development saying government alone cannot be held responsible in terms of development.
Oba Fagbayi implored the Chiefs to inculcate the fear of God and embrace unity in diversity which is the yardstick of accelerated and unprecedented development.
Responding, Balogun of Konifewo village, Barr. Sesan Bankole thanked the monarch for the warn reception giving to them pledging their total supports to make the dream of the monarch a reality.
