Newly appointed DPP Director pays courtesy visit to AIG Iliyasu

The newly appointed Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Mrs. Aderera Olayinka Adeyemi, has on Thursday, June 18, 2020, paid a courtesy visit to the office of Assistant Inspector General of
Police, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu, psc (+).
The visit, according to the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Lagos, DSP Hauwa Idris-Adamu, was in furtherance of the collaborative efforts of the Police and the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution in ensuring justice is served.
The AIG and members of the Zonal Police management team received the Director and her entourage in his office at the Zonal Command.
Mrs Olayinka commended the Zonal Command officers for the quality and proper investigation of cases and implore them to do more in the areas of Proper Police Investigation, preservation of evidences and Prosecution of offenders of gender based. The AIG, in his response, reiterate the commitment and readiness of the Zone to collaborate in The Administration of Criminal Justice (ACJA 2015) while the visit was drawn to an end amidst vote of thanks.
