Palpable tension in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, following death of three suspected internet fraudsters this evening.
It was gathered that the suspected internet fraudsters died in an accident following a hot chase by some policemen on Oba Adesoji Aderemi East Bye Pass road, some hours ago.
Three of the suspected internet fraudsters were said to have died immediately in the accident while the fourth occupant of the car sustained serious injury.
It was further gathered that the suspects were being trailed by the police from Osun Mall.
The ugly situation sparked protest by some residents of the state who have blocked the Osogbo East bypass, Dele Yes Sir and Lameco roads in Osogbo.
The situation has disrupted free flow of traffic around Oke-Fia, Ola-Iya, Alekuwodo, Capital, Odi-Olowo axis.
Some irate youths it was also learnt attacked police vehicle around Alekuwodo area.
