Obasa Free Webinar online Entrepreneurship Empowerment Training inaugurates 1st batch coordinators

The Obasa Movement Initiative in partnership with National Image Webinar Online Entrepreneurship Empowerment training set to offer under-privileged persons in Lagos State free scholarship to study in any of Nigeria Polytechnic and College of Education.


The beneficiaries will include people living with disabilities.

The groups also reiterated their readiness to empower about 70,000 Lagosians in the 20 local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas of Lagos State, which planning to kick off very soon.

The project Director, Mr Seyi Bamigbade, while addressing the 1st batch Coordinators at Obasa Constituency in Agege, Lagos, emphasised that the online skills acquisition training for under-privileged persons in Lagos is to make them self reliance, and acquit them from much depending on Government for white kola jobs. 

He said the Free Entrepreneurship training on Online business, Agro business, exportation, importation and website designing will hold on Zoom platform in conformity with the covid-19 safety protocols for 5 days sessional. 

Mr Bamigbade, while handling over the 1st series participants forms to the newly inaugurated coordinators from Alimosho Local Government, Agbado Oke LCDA, Mosan Okunola LCDA, Ipaja Ayobo LCDA, Egbe Idimu LCDA, Orile LCDA,  Agege LG, Odi Olowo LCDA, Oshodi LG, Ikeja LG, Onigbogbo LCDA, Iba LCDA, Ojo LG, Ori Ade, Ojokoro LCDA, Ifelodun LCDA, Amuwo LCDA, Oto Awori LCDA, Ajeromi  Local Government,  Isolo LCDA, Ifako LG, Eredo LCDA,  Ikorodu North LCDA, Ikosi Isheri LCDA,  Apapa Iganmu LCDA, Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Ikorodu and Ibeju Local Governments, opined that the empowerment can quaranteed quick and immediate employment opportunities, including tuition free scholarships for selected less-privileged students among them. Elder Olabisi Odeomu, commended the project, saying it will go a long way in changing the life of so many Lagos State inhabitants. 

He also hailed the Rt. Hon. obasa for his tireless efforts in making the mega city a better place for all.

The Workshop will also hold on WhatsApp, Twitter,  Facebook TV, YouTube,  Instagram Goggle links etc.
