The female Secondary School teacher of Itamerin Comprehensive School, Mrs Theresa Tope Okeowo has been set free by her abductors.

Okeowo, who regained her freedom yesterday (Friday) was kidnapped with other 15 passengers along Ibadan-Oru ijebu road on wednesday.

It was learnt that by Thursday’s night, Government has put all necessary foot forward to help but the teachers didn’t wait for their precious colleague to be subjected to an incurable disease and maltreatment in captivity before they responded.

It was also gathered that some notable proprietors from Ago- iwoye donated immensely more than the teachers working under the Government to secure her release.

A top-notch member of Academic Staff Union of Secondary School, ASSUS in Ogun State confirmed the release but didn’t give further details on how the Kidnapped teacher’s freedom was secured.

Meanwhile, scores of people and bodies had congratulated the entire ASUSS members of Ogun State and Ijebu North in particular.
