'OGSG 'll always provides conducive environment for investors'

Ogun State Government has reiterated its commitment to providing conducive environment for new and existing investments, to make the State, investment destination of choice.
The State Deputy Governor, Engr. (Mrs.) Noimot Salako-Oyedele reaffirm this at the re-launch of Golden Morn, a product of Nestle Nigeria Plc, at the Company's factory in Agbara, Ado Odo/Ota Local Government. 
Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Olu Ola Aikulola, said the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration, in line with its ‘Building Our Future Together’ agenda, would continue to provide enabling environment for businesses to thrive and that, the Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative had continued to provide a viable economy for the State and investors.
While lauding Nestle for being partners in progress, the Deputy Governor expressed optimism that the re-launch would translate into job creation, charging the organisation to continue to contribute its quota to the development of the State through the implementation of various Corporate Social Responsibility projects.
In his address, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Nestlé Mr. Mauricio Alarcon, explained that the new Golden Morn had been bio-fortified with Grain Smart, iron, vitamins and protein to nourish about 26 million undernourished Nigerians, as well as consumers, adding that the product’s content was locally sourced and this move would transform Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and contribute to value chain.
The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, represented by Head of Nutrition, Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Chris Isokpunwa, noted that the product would help address micro-nutrient deficiency in Nigerians, stressing that seven out of 10 Nigerian children, representing more than 14 million children were anemic, with 2.5 million children at life threatening situation.
In her contribution, Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker, observed that the effort of the company was in tandem with government's goal at tackling hunger and malnutrition, saying government had been implementing various programmes such as, Home-Grown Feeding Programme and malnutrition tests across schools, to address the challenge.
