BY OLALEKAN AYENI: The Mayegun of Yoruba Land, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, has renewed the hope of Mr and Mrs Adebayo that one of their children, Master Ephata Ayodele will not died but to live a long and prosperous life.
The Mayegun donated N2m cash out of the N3m needed by the less-priviledged family to fly the 2-year-old boy abroad for heart surgery.
Information Carrier, gathered that the family had lost hope over the deteriorating condition of the boy's health due to financial incapability to take the abroad after he had been diagnosed of certain ailment which had caused the boy to have heartholes.
The Yoruba Land High Chief who is also a Fuji Mastero, popularly known as KWAM 1, also donated N2m cash to support a woman seeking for N900,000 to undergo a surgery in one of her legs at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and people planning to visit the Holy Lands "Mecca and Jerusalem" in the year 2020.
This gestures was to render maximum support to the Leader and Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele as he host 75th United Nations' Wold Peace Advocacy which has been established since 1948 to foster peace and security across the continent. And it celebrated yearly on every October 24 in United Nations.
It also focus on tackling issues such as the climate crisis, inequality, new patterns of violence and the major changes we are seeing in population and technology in order to achieve the
Sustainable Development. It require cooperation across borders, sectors and generations for more expansion.
Alhaji Ayinde described the Ikere Ekiti Born renowned Man of God, Primate Ayodele as a great philanthropist, a father to the fatherless, husband to the widows and giver per excellence.
He disclosed at the event that Primate Ayodele is his mentor and spiritual father that made him closer to God over the years.
He pledged his ever support to the man of God, who added had been close friend for over three and half decades, as he will continue to spread the gospel of peace across the world.
The two-in-one event, used to celebrate the man of God's birthday. It featured prayers, thanksgiving, testimonies, cultural display and presentation of gifts and awards.
Flat screen televisions, matresses, JAMB forms, tricycles and cash were giving to people free at the colourful event.
It was indeed a glorious and ever remarkable event for Primate Ayodele as he was honoured with United Nations Eminent Peace Award by World Peace President, Amb Per Stafsen in collaboration with South Africa Country Director, Amb. Chinedu Anthony.
Furthermore, the united nations delegation revealed that Primate Elijah Ayodele will be given a Diplomatic Plate Number, a street named after him in Abuja and a Diplomatic Identity Card.
Speaking at the event, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, hailed the Primate as he deemed it fit to organised and host the unforgotten event. He vowed that his administration would give maximum support to the man of God concerning the propagating the gospel of peace and security across the world.
He spoke through the Commissioner for Home and Affairs, Hon. Anafiu Elegushi. He said the efforts of United Nations on peace and security globally cannot be over emphasised, saying Lagos State administration would continously be supportive striker to the impactive programme whenever is holding globally.
The event was well attended by traditional monarchs, religious leaders, business mogues, political stalwats and other dignitaries locally and internationally.
