The Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike security under the proactive leadership of the Chief Security Officer, Sir Alex Okafor (CSP) on January 28 2021 as at 12:30pm arrested two fake men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
There names are Chigozie Nweke and Okafor Christopher who travelled all the way from Anambra State to Abia State to arrest one of our students; Raphael whom they alleged to be a Yahoo boy who have been in school throughout the period of lockdown.
After interrogation by the MOUAU security operatives, it was also gathered that the fake EFCC men demanded a whopping sum of two million (2,000,000) naira from Raphael before he could be released from their custody.
This was demanded according to them before the arrival of the MOUAU security operatives.

He said, More information has it that they School security were reported to have handed them over to the Nigeria Police Force(NPF) for further interrogation.
However, the MOUAU security is well positioned to protect the lives and properties of the University and that of the Students, therefore, the Students are by this information urge to be vigilant and eschew violence and as well shun cyber crime. Kudos to MOUAU security operatives!
