The Publisher of National Monitor, an online media outfit, Olawale Olurotimi, has been promoted to the rank of Senior Assistant Brigadier General (SABG) of Lads and Lasses Brigade in Nigeria and Republic of Benin.
Commandant Olurotimi, popularly refers to as 'Foto' among the fold who is a seasonal journalist is to take over the responsibilities of offering standard trainings to officers along ranks and files of the Christian movements.
His appointment was announced at the opening ceremony of year 2021 Annual Leadership training camping programme, tagged: "The Chosen Vessels" held at Saint Michael Primary School Ota, Ogun State, on August 16, 2021.
While giving the opening charge, Brigadier General, CSP Oni Odunlami (Rtd), said Commandant Olurotimi, had been offered the opportunity to serve as the National trainers based on his meritorious capacity to have served at different categories of the African church movement.
CSP Odunlami further counsels that he should see the position as privileged to add values to the church community and humanity as a whole and not to let aura of the elevation carry him away from primary assignment of raising other strong officers the group would be proud of subsequently.
In Appreciation to the new appointment, SABG Olurotimi Commends the leadership of the movement hitherto and promise he will live to expectation to train and equip officers with required standard the movement is known for as an international organisation.
