A letter had been sent to all Chief Security agencies in Ogun State with a copy made available to press to caution the Chief Imam of Abeokuta to operate within his jurisdiction and avoid causing a chaos that could translate to bloodshed in Ilogbo town and its environs.

The report of appointment was presented to Kabiyesi, and he confirmed and approved Alfa Naheem Akinola Oladotun to become the new Chief Imam of Ilogbo on October 12, 2019. A certificate was issued to Alfa Oladotun under power conferred on him by the Chiefs Law of Ogun State. The title of Chief Imam of Ilogbo Central Mosque is a chieftaincy traditionally associated with Ilogbo and is guided by the Chiefs Law of Ogun State.”
