In its efforts to curtail the spread of Covid 19, the Ogun State Government in collaboration with Development Partners, World Health Organization( WHO), United Nations International Children Emergency Fund ( UNICEF) and the National Health Care Development Agency ( NPHCDA) is set to commence the administration of Covid 19 vaccination in line with the guidelines from the National Primary Health Care Agency to eligible residents across the State.
A release signed by the Commissioner for Health, Dr.Tomi Coker indicated that the exercise is scheduled to begin from Monday,15th through Wednesday, 24th 2021 for all frontline workers across the 20 Local Government Areas in the state.The frontline workers comprise of Health workers in Public and Private sector, Port of Entry Staff (Immigration and Customs), Covid 19 Rapid Response Team (RRT), Laboratory Network, Policemen, Military and Paramilitary officers, Petrol Station Attendants and other contingency frontline workers.
Frontline workers are enjoined to visit https://nphcdaict.com.ng/publicreg for registration and select the nearest Health facility to them as their vaccination site to get vaccinated during the exercise.
The release added that the implementation of the remaining phases of the COVID 19 vaccination shall be announced later
